Job Description:
As the Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing strategies that align with our team’s goals. You will manage our online presence, create engaging content, and use data-driven insights to optimize our marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
•Develop and implement a digital marketing strategy to promote the team, games, and events.
•Manage the team’s social media accounts, including creating and posting content, engaging with fans, and monitoring trends.
•Oversee the content on the team’s website, ensuring it is up-to-date and optimized for user experience.
•Optimize website content for search engines (SEO) and manage pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns to drive traffic.
•Develop and execute email marketing campaigns and newsletters to communicate with fans.
•Monitor and analyze the performance of digital marketing campaigns using analytics tools.
•Provide regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and use insights to improve campaigns.
•Plan and manage online advertising campaigns, including display ads, social media ads, and sponsored content.
•Create interactive content such as polls, quizzes, and contests to engage fans.
•Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
•Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
•2+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably within the sports industry.
•Proven experience managing social media accounts and creating engaging content.
•Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, and email marketing best practices.
•Proficiency with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and marketing automation platforms.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Strong project management and organizational skills.
•Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Title: Media Production Intern (Unpaid, Volunteer Credit Hours)

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in media production, earn volunteer credit hours, and be part of the behind-the-scenes action of a professional sports team.

Job Description:

As a Media Production Intern, you will assist the Media Production Team in creating, managing, and distributing content that promotes our team and engages our fans. This internship offers valuable experience in video production, graphic design, social media management, and more. You will have the chance to work closely with industry professionals and contribute to real projects.

Key Responsibilities:

•    Assist in the planning, shooting, and editing of video content for social media, the team’s website, and other digital platforms.
•    Support the creation of graphics for social media posts, advertisements, merchandise, and promotional materials.
•    Help capture high-quality photos during games, practice sessions, and special events.
•    Contribute to the management of the team’s social media accounts by creating and posting content, engaging with fans, and monitoring trends.
•    Assist in the creation and distribution of written content for the team’s website, social media, newsletters, and other publications.
•    Support live broadcast production by helping with technical setup and operation.
•    Collaborate with the Media Production Team to ensure brand consistency across all content.
•    Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to develop creative content ideas.

Qualifications:

•    Current enrollment in a college or university program related to Media Production, Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field.
•    Passion for sports and an interest in media production.
•    Basic knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
•    Basic skills in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
•    Familiarity with social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok).
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•    Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed, particularly on game days.
